Air Busan Reviews
The second largest city in South Korea is Busan and is known for its huge port — the biggest one in the country — and the famous beach that lines its coast. The subtropical climate in the city makes it one of the primary summer destinations for tourists and locals. Tourist attractions in the city include vast nature reserves, natural hot springs, the annually held movie festival, and the beautiful coastline. If you’re looking for a more relaxed atmosphere within Korea, this city is a must see.
The city is home to Air Busan, a budget airline headquartered in the Busanjin District. If you plan on flying with this carrier, come check out the latest Air Busan reviews I found online.
Origins and ownership
The airline was founded in July 2007 under the name of Busan International Airlines Company. By February 2008, the airline changed their name to Air Busan Co., Ltd. In the same month, it signed into an investment agreement with Asiana Airlines as well as with the authorities of Busan City. The current Chief Executive Officer of Air Busan is Tae-Keun Han.
What people are saying
Surprisingly, this low-cost carrier had received overwhelmingly good ratings across different review websites. Passengers were commending the airline for its great in-flight services and facilities. The seat comfort, staff service quality, and the value for money are the airline’s top assets. The drinks may not be the best but passengers were still glad because some of them did not expect to receive any beverage. Here are some of the Air Busan reviews I found online:
“Gimpo-Jeju and Jeju-Gimpo. One of the best budget airlines I have flown with thus far. Air fares were cheap. The seat was really comfortable for such a short distance and legroom room was really spacious (more space than SIA).”
“Very good friendly and uncomplicated service. Like the fixed prizing. Makes you wonder why it has to be so stressful travelling in Europe with the likes of Ryanair etc. Would always choose Air Busan again.”
“PUS-GMP. User-friendly website made the ticket purchasing easy. Departure delayed 20 minutes but the plane arrived on time in GMP. Orange juice and water served on a very short flight.”
Their website looks clean and modern. Its functionalities appear to be working quite well and the layout is intuitive. Much like many other airline websites today, Air Busan’s site has a booking form located at the center of the page. Users may fill this up if they are in search of a flight. Apart from the flight booking, clients may also use the form to book a hotel room and a car rental service. Simply click on the corresponding tabs located at the top of the page if you wish to avail of these services. Behind the form is a large background image which features domestic and international tourist attractions.
