What people are saying

After looking up the Air Mauritius reviews online, I found out that the airline is quite average and it does have its own distinctive strengths and weaknesses. As for the airline’s strengths, perhaps its best selling point comes from their ground and flight crew. Passengers liked how well-trained the staff were, with large smiles and lively demeanor, the flyers felt at ease with their services. The aircraft’s configuration is fairly comfortable and they still hand out some amenity kits for the personal use of their passengers.

Now, for the carriers weaknesses, the passengers seem to be the most common topic of complaint. The quality of the inflight meals range from acceptable to quite horrible. People also noted the the fleet had “seen better days”, with aging seats and old facilities.

Outdated website

Air Mauritius Reviews - Air Mauritius Website
When you visit their website, you will be taken to a page where you can choose your country of residence along with the language. Simply click on your country and you will be redirected to their main homepage.

On the middle of the homepage, you will find the flight booking form which you may use to look up all available flights to your preferred destination. The form, however, is quite small unlike those found in other airline websites. The design looks a bit dated, with small fonts and slightly tacky design. A website redesign would be highly appreciated.

Conclusion

After reading the Air Mauritius reviews from various online review sites, I can conclude that the carrier’s fleet needs to be upgraded if they wish to fully satisfy their customers. With an aging cabin, flyers will obviously be uncomfortable as aviation standards have been steadily rising. As for their cabin crew, the friendliness and overall pleasant demeanor should be maintained as it is perhaps the airline’s strongest point.

Dull attendants. No smiles throughout the flight. The process was smooth but service needs to improve.
