Basically, upon reading several reviews coming from the people who’ve been to Chubu Centrair International Airport; all of them seems to have had a nice, relaxing and atmospheric feeling around the airport. I’ve noticed that most of the reviews talks about how clean and organized Chubu Centrair International Airport was. Chubu Centrair International Airport, has four floors. The first floor is called the “Welcome Garden”, as bus and taxi passengers’ drop-off zones are located here. The second floor is the arrivals lobby; this is where international and domestic arrivals are processed as departures are found on the third floor. As for the fourth floor, Chubu Centrair International Airport offers its shopping center, which they call: Sky Town. Basically, you can find a Duty-Free are in the departure area on the third floor; but the shops in Chubu Centrair International Airport’s Sky Town, seems to be one of the passengers’ favourite section.
Sky Town Shopping Center is accessible to the general public, offering 61 souvenir shops and restaurants. The Shopping Center is divided into two streets, namely: Renga-Dori and Chochin-Yokocho. The shops in the Chochin-Yokocho section are individually designed, to have that authentic Japanese, look. One of the restaurants here–The Wakashachiya, found on the Chochin-Yokocho street, is one of the people’s favorite. Their best seller: Curry Udon, seems to their best-seller, as it’s quite popular with the airport’s customers. A review about Wakashaciya is written below.

Chubu Centrair International Airport, also has an access plaza which is connected to the arrivals and departures building of the airport. It is basically used as parking lots for busses, taxis, speedboats, and for trains. Chubu International Airport also has several comfort rooms, changing rooms, baby-diaper-changing rooms and even has a prayer room too!
There are different access in order to reach Chubu Centrair International Airport, especially if you’re coming from Nagoya; you can take train via Nagoya Railroad (Meitetsu), and reach Chubu Centrair International Airport in just 28 minutes.
