Eurowings, officially Eurowings GmbH, is a budget airline from Germany and is a subsidiary of Lufthansa Group. The airline’s headquarters is in Düsseldorf, Germany and operates from Berlin Tegel Airport, Cologne Bonn Airport, Düsseldorf Airport, Hamburg Airport, Hannover Airport, Stuttgart Airport, and Vienna International Airport.
Today, we will be looking at what people think of the airline’s services by checking out some Eurowings reviews.
The airline was founded in February 1, 1993 after the merger between Reise- und Industrieflug and Nürnberger Flugdienst, two regional German airlines. The airline launched its operations on January 1, 1994. The current chief executive officer of Eurowings is Friedrich-Wilhelm Weitholz.
What people are saying
Looking at the Eurowings reviews, people say that their experience with Eurowings is good but not very exceptional. The aircraft cabins were new/refurbished, and people liked the seat configuration. The staff were very kind and fun, and made the otherwise drab flight a bit more enjoyable.
People complained about the frequent delays and the lack of free food (which I think is understandable, considering Eurowings is a low-cost airline). Here are some of the passenger review:
“For a short flight ok. Check in 72 hours in advance is very good. Quality of food could be improved, I’d rather pay €5,- more if I got a decent sandwich. Bad: flight one hour delayed, no newspapers.”
“The Staff are fun and nice. You can also pay more if you want food and drinks.”
“For a budget airline this was very good. Easy check in and boarding. Very helpful and professional cabin attendants. Small plane for length of journey but very good value.”
Their website is very professional-looking and has a lot of travel-enticing images. In the middle of the page is a large, auto side-scrolling image that shows the airlines latest promos along with the fare price. Below that, you will find the flight booking form that can be used to search flights.
Aside from flight booking, travelers can also book hotel rooms via their affiliate accommodation website, Booking.com. Moreover, web check-in, flight status, and flight management are available as well.

Based on the Eurowings reviews, booking a flight with the airline is affordable but not very notable. If you like modern cabins and fun flight attendants, then perhaps you wouldn’t mind the lack of free food or IFE. However, if you value comfort over affordability, then perhaps you need to book a different airline.
