Hawaiian Airlines Reviews
Hawaii, the sun-kissed archipelago recognized for being a top tourist destination peppered with breath-taking resorts, neverending summer days, and wonderful tropical attractions, is the main destination of Hawaiian Airlines. Known as the 8th largest carrier of the United States, Hawaiian Airlines offers flights to Hawaii, New Zealand, Asia, the United States, and Australia.
Today, we will be taking a look at Hawaiian Airlines reviews to give you an idea of what to expect from this carrier and whether or not you should fly with them.
Origins and ownership
The Chief Executive Officer and President of Hawaiian Airlines, as well as the airlines’ holding company Hawaiian Holdings, Inc., is Mr. Mark B. Dunkerley. He had been appointed to his current position last June 2, 2005. Mr. Dunkerley had joined the company in December 2002 wherein he took the role of the President and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Before joining Hawaiian Airlines, he worked for Sabena Airlines Group in Brussels, Belgium, where he held the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).
What people are saying
After looking at the latest Hawaiian Airlines reviews, I saw the pros and cons of flying with the carrier. The mixed reviews stated that the airline’s punctuality is inconsistent considering the fact that some passengers said that their flight was on time while others said that they experienced a minor delay in departure. The seat quality also differs depending on the flight class that you are in, with First/Business Class obviously having the best seat quality and pitch.
As for the food, a lot of passengers didn’t quite like the meals served to them. One flyer complained about the “overly sweet chicken dish” that he described to be “barely edible”. His second meal was a little bit better than the first, but his third meal, he described as “a pack of mystery meat sandwiches which were truly disgusting”.
Fortunately, what it lacks from food, it makes up for great customer service. Passengers commended the airline’s staff for being so courteous and available all the time.

The airline offers two flight classes, the First Class and the Economy Class. Quality of seat, food, and in-flight entertainment depends on your flight class. Dining and drinks are served but choices will vary based on your flight route. Inflight entertainment can be purchased as well as snacks.

Good but has room for improvement
Based on the Hawaiian Airlines reviews above, we can say that the carrier has distinct strengths and weaknesses. While the airline isn’t necessarily bad (a lot of passengers did appreciate the effort shown by the staff), they still have a lot of room for improvement, especially in terms of inflight meals.
