Logitravel was founded by genius web programmers and internet entrepreneur from Mallorca, Spain in 2004. Their united aim was to create a travel site that will engage customers to create their own travel experience and schedule them accordingly. With the combined minds of the creators of Logitravel their profound knowledge in technology and travel helped a lot in building one of the most successful online travel agencies. They created a mascot to represent the travel site, they called him Logi. To see how they took time in this character, click here.
Now, Logitravel has over 300 employees working with them hand in hand with their leader, the general director Tomeu Bennasar. Prior to being the director of the travel site he was a web programmer for other travel agencies. Mr. Bennasar stepped up the ladder in 2008 from being the company’s director of marketing and advertising to general director. His name was more spoken within Logitravel rather than the CEO because Tomeu is the company’s asset.
How Logitravel Works?
Well, I see a big resemblance of Logitravel with Ctrip’s layout. However, the language barrier was the main problem with the page. Logitravel does not have English for their travel site’s understandability that I had to translate the page via Google translate web page service. But the site has international versions as to Portugal, Italy, Germany, Brazil, France, United Kingdom, Finland and Mexico located at the far bottom of the page. So, if you want to get the English version another option is to use the United Kingdom site.
Logitravel lets travelers look and compare airfares, hotel reservations, cruises and car rentals. Aside from the main function of the site, customers can also be enticed with their other topics for vacation packages and deals such as ski, circuits and leisure. They can also receive updates of the latest offers of the site by signing up for their newsletter services.
Logitravel Reviews of Consumers
Several Logitravel reviews by consumers are shown side by side. The majority of the complaints are thinking that Logitravel might be a sister company of dreams, since they have very similar complaints from their customers. On Tripadvisor, someone also started a forum with “Has anyone else experienced horrible service with LOGITRAVEL?” and what’s scarier about these Logitravel reviews, the reviewers are legit posters on trusted sites.
Another reviewer said the service was awful because they took her money and emailed her over 48 hours to tell her reservation wasn’t booked and she will receive a refund. She had to go through the process of last minute booking for another £270. A few days after the incident, she called back to follow up her refund, but the representative was very dismissive and rude to her. She never got her refund after all. She ended her review by saying “DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY COSTS”

I’m almost out of words to defend or question the credibility of Logitravel. Even potential customers are on the same page with what other viewers felt. Given the numerous Logitravel reviews showing, it really will make them think twice in trusting Logitravel. Maybe if their genius mind was able to come up with an astounding business then they sure can come up with a brilliant way to cope up with this mess.
