TravelTicker Reviews

TravelTicker Reviews logoIn a travel market that it populated mostly by online travel agencies that were grown in the US and Europe, it is definitely refreshing to see online travel agencies that originated in Asia. These online travel agencies are very rare and sometimes they have a hard time competing with giants in the travel and tourism industry.

One of these Asian online travel agencies is TravelTicker.com. This online travel agency provides almost the same services that giant travel agents offered. What’s remarkable about this company is that it’s headquartered in Southeast Asia, a region that is comprised mostly of developing countries.

In this OTA Reviews article, travelers would learn more about the online travel agency and how it operates. Apart from that, travelers would be learning more about what previous customers had to say about the company based on several TravelTicker reviews on the web.

Travel agent in the land of a thousand smiles

TravelTicker Reviews Web1TravelTicker.com is an online travel agency that is owned and operated by Asia One Plus Co. Ltd. Although the company is most operated by locals, there are also German entrepreneurs who have invested in the company.

The online travel agency is a licensed inbound travel operator in Thailand. Other than that, TravelTicker boasts of cutting edge technology coupled by consultations offered by a group of travel experts that make their products and services truly remarkable.

One of their unique travel products is the “Pay-at-Hotel” option that allows customers to book hotel reservations securely and conveniently.

TravelTicker Reviews Web2Two of the company’s leaders are also included on the website, perhaps to assure travelers that TravelTicker is not a fly-by-night company. The online travel agency’s managing directors are Dirk Bergmann who’s a former German Associate Judge and Attorney, Experienced Web Developer and Webmaster and Prakaiphet Thammawong who’s a CPA and graduate of Chiang Mai University.

On the other hand, a few TravelTicker reviews posted on the Internet reveal some additional information about the online travel website. Interestingly, Travelticker.com should would not be confused with Travel-Ticker.com that is an affiliate of Hotwire.

When a traveler checks the website, they would be led to a catalog major cities. Curiously, these link would connect travelers to a new page about hotels that customers could book at the city they chose.

TravelTicker Reviews Web3What’s more fantastic about the online travel agency is that they provide a short blog about the hotel and provide tips on how the hotel operates. Add to that, TravelTicker also offers a map that pinpoints the exact location of the hotel.

The downside about it is that at the moment, they only offer information about hotel reservations. Even the search panel that is powered by Trivago would only offer information about hotels at the destination that a traveler is headed.

Contact information

Meanwhile, this OTA Reviews article was able to collect some additional information about TravelTicker.com:

  • Website URL: http://www.travelticker.com/

A major mix-up

The only flaw of this online travel agency is its name. Some travelers might confuse it with the bigger and more popular Travel-Ticker.com. On the other hand, the company’s services seemed legit and that they also offer contact information where customers could present their feedback. Hopefully, travelers would be hearing more of this online travel agency from the land of a thousand smiles.
